At the age of nine Sanela and her sisters received Operation Christmas shoeboxes which had a huge impact on Sanela‘s life. When Sanela was 13 due to the war in Bosnia her family came to the US when they moved to Bridgewater, Virginia. Sanela and her family have lived in the valley ever since.
