KID’S HARBOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR– Church of the Nazarene at Harrisonburg, Virginia is pleased to announce an immediate opening for the Executive Director of Kid’s Harbor Preschool and After School.
This position is responsible for the overall leadership, vision, direction and management of this school, which provides programs for infant through 8th grade.
The successful candidate will align with our church faith and values as a bona fide occupational qualification and will have demonstrated effectiveness in organizational leadership, management, administration and staff development. In addition, demonstrated competencies and experience with K-8-level education and child development as well as experience in a pre-school/daycare environment will be a plus.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience and expertise is also required. A candidate who is a member of Church of the Nazarene or is willing to become one is desirable in this search, but not required.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (FACILITIES)– Church of the Nazarene at Harrisonburg, Virginia is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a part-time Maintenance Technician. There is potential for this to be a full-time position as well, if desired.
Among other responsibilities, this person is responsible for general electrical, minor plumbing, light carpentry, painting and grounds keeping. Typical tasks are fixing door locks, faucet repair or replacement, replacing light bulbs or upgrading to LED, rubber roof maintenance, operating zero-turn mower and weed trimmer, clearing snow and spreading mulch.

MINISTRY ASSISTANT (OUTREACH)– Church of the Nazarene at Harrisonburg, Virginia is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a full-time Outreach Ministry Assistant.
Among other responsibilities, this position is responsible for the support of the Outreach Pastor as well as leadership and coordination of outreach- related logistics and communication.

WORSHIP DIRECTOR (HARRISONBURG CAMPUS)– Church of the Nazarene at Harrisonburg, Virginia is pleased to announce an immediate opening for the Worship Director of the Harrisonburg Campus.
This position is responsible for the overall leadership, vision, direction and management of the worship ministries and programs for the Harrisonburg campus.
The successful candidate will align with our church faith and values as a bona fide occupational qualification, becoming a member of the Harrisonburg campus, and will have demonstrated effectiveness in leading worship, team leadership, administration and organization. In addition, demonstrated competencies and experience with musical performance, training and collaboration will be important. Skills in media, communication, and performance-related audio-visual technology will be a plus.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience and expertise is also required. We will accept applications both from pastors as well as non-pastors.
