We are joined on today’s Christmas day broadcast by Tawnya Landes. Tawnya joins us today to share about her passion for packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. She first learned about Operation Christmas child last year when a child who received a shoebox from somebody, she knows wrote her back and talked about how the shoebox had impacted their life. Last year Tawnya was able to do 50 shoeboxes and this year she was able to do close to 200 shoeboxes. Most of the items in the shoeboxes Tawnya has made by hand. An example of some of the items that she has made for the shoeboxes are dolls and art kits. She also had a friend that was able to make some wooden trucks for the shoeboxes.
